Capitol Learning Co. is committed to making both our website and our Ben Street studio usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as a craft, not a checklist.
The website
We aim to conform to the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. Concretely, that means:
- Semantic HTML structure with a single H1 per page.
- Text contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body copy.
- Keyboard navigation for every interactive element.
- Descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content.
The studio
Our Ben Street location has step-free entry, an ADA-compliant restroom, height-adjustable desks in the quiet-study room, and a sensory-friendly study room that can be reserved at no charge by calling ahead.
Reporting an issue
