Capitol Learning Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at edusieage.com and provides adult-learning coaching from our studio at 726 Ben Street, Lansing, MI 48933. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it short and human.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, book a consult, or enroll in a program, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message.
- Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL) for security and troubleshooting. Anonymous analytics help us understand which pages are most useful.

3. How we use information
- To reply to your inquiries and schedule consultations.
- To deliver coaching, workshop, and membership services you have requested.
- To send transactional emails (appointment confirmations, receipts, schedule changes).
- To improve the website and our learning materials.
- To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
4. What we never do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
5. Service providers
We use a small set of well-known U.S. service providers to run the studio — for website hosting, transactional email, calendar scheduling, payment processing, and accounting. Each is bound by contract to use your data only on our instructions. We are happy to name the current providers on request.
6. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for up to 24 months. Coaching records are retained for the duration of your engagement plus seven years to satisfy U.S. tax and recordkeeping requirements, after which they are destroyed.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to the retention periods above). Write to help@edusieage.com and we will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sharing" — which we do not do.
8. Children
The studio works with adults and with high-school juniors and seniors (age 16+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use TLS encryption on this website, restrict internal access to learner data on a need-to-know basis, and review our access controls each quarter. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take security seriously.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify enrolled learners by email.
